Paul Sinclair is a retired mathematics and calculus teacher with 23 years in the classroom and a lifelong passion for helping students understand the subject. Since retiring in 2017, he has devoted his time to writing math workbooks, beginning with The Perfect Math Tutor for All series. Each book focuses on one mathematical concept, introducing its properties and then exploring how it applies in real life.
Paul holds an undergraduate degree in Experimental Science and a graduate degree in Mathematics and Business Management. His mission is to cultivate a love of mathematics around the world, because it is a universe of truth that cannot be manipulated. His long-standing ambition is to one day solve the Riemann Hypothesis.
His workbooks embed scenarios from everyday life to show why mathematics matters, and they invite students not only to solve equations but to become creators. That is why you won’t find a page of “solve for x and y” at the end of a chapter. Practice is valuable, but it isn’t enough on its own. Students are asked to create at least three scenarios of their own where the new concept applies, so they take full ownership of their learning.
In Book 2, Paul reveals the perfect symmetry of the quadratic function through newly created charts and graphs, and shows why the concept matters so much in engineering applications.
